Who we are

VDS Integrated Security Solutions (“VDS,” “we,” “us”) is a commercial security company based in Waco, Texas. This policy explains what we collect when you visit this site or request a commercial security review, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Information you give us on the request form:

Your name, mobile phone number and work email
Your company name and the property’s ZIP code
What you need help with (the options you select)
Your agreement that we may call or text you about your request

Information collected automatically:

The pages you visit on this site and when you submitted the form
The ad or link that brought you here (campaign tags such as UTM parameters and a Facebook click ID)
Basic device and browser information collected by cookies and the Meta Pixel, described below

How we use it

To respond to your request and schedule your on-site walkthrough
To call or text you about your request, if you agreed to that on the form
To prepare your recommendation and any quote you ask for
To understand which ads and pages bring in requests, and to improve them
To keep records of requests and consent, and to meet legal obligations

Calls and text messages

If you check the consent box, VDS may call or text the mobile number you provide about your request. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time using the contact details below.

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

With service providers that run this site and our operations for us, such as website hosting, business email and document storage, phone and text messaging, and advertising measurement. They may use it only to provide those services to us.
With companies under common ownership with VDS, when needed to coordinate security and fire or life-safety services you ask about
When required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of VDS or others
As part of a merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of our business

Cookies and the Meta Pixel

This site uses the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta Platforms, Inc. It tells us, and Meta, when someone who saw our ad visits this site or submits a request, so we can measure and improve our advertising. When you submit a request, our server also tells Meta about it directly, sending your email, phone, name and ZIP only in a scrambled (hashed) form Meta uses to match it to an account. Meta may use this information under its own data policy. You can manage how Meta uses it for ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

How long we keep it, and how we protect it

We keep request information as long as needed to respond to you, to serve you if you become a customer, and to meet legal and record-keeping requirements. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect it, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices

You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your consent to calls and texts at any time. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

This site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
